Talking trends is always the buzz going into the next season but in our experience there is not usually a major shift in the looks that our typically au natural brides are looking for. Though some years tend to be all about a certain look, like 2023 was for sure the year of the classic Hollywood waves, there are always a few mainstays. A few of our favourite staples are loose waves with a textured and effortless half up, romantic and loose low buns and natural soft bronze and pink tones for makeup that complement our brides unique colouring and of course flawless glowing skin!
Staples aside, its always super fun to see certain inspo pics reoccur over the season and keeping our eyes out for the what might be the most popular looks for the next season. After spending a little time looking over the editorial bridal trends for 2024, it was exciting to see some of our faves mixed with some of our predictions.
A few key trends we noted & love:
Natural Makeup - Yes, you may call us a little obsessed but we love natural beauty. We love makeup to accentuate our clients and not over power them, so it was awesome to see really light makeup, glowing skin and neutral tones all over the runways.
Textured Up Do - Not totally new but we guess we will set a little more of this going into 2024. We love the soft effortlessness of this trend.
Chic Chignon - Perhaps the exact opposite of the textured look, is the classic elegance of a sleek and timeless chignon.
Bows - We have always been a sucker for a bow. We have also helped many of our brides perfect their bows over the years, so we are totally ready for this trend!
Unique Hair Accessories - We love hair accessories, its such a fun way to add a little sparkle or extra intrigue to your half or full up do. We saw lots of floral options, opulent crowns and ribbons trending.
