This romantic styled destination elopement shoot was inspired by a cozy little rustic cabin nestled in the forest just outside of Gibsons in British Columbia's lush, rain-drenched West Coast.
For colour inspiration we looked to the palette of Spring florals, incorporating a fresh and bright feeling into the bouquet, table setting, and cake design. These soft colours were carried through in the aesthetics of both the tux and the two wedding gowns that we used. The antique feel of the embroidered lace patterns were a perfect compliment to the eclectic, rustic-styled cabin.
The hair and makeup supported this theme using soft, undone curls and minimal, fresh makeup, accented by sparkling, timeless jewels.
The photography from this shoot captures the essence of Spring as it blooms with new life in the unpredictable, coastal mountain weather.
Kristalyn, a Save the Date Beauty stylist, and Steven are a real couple and are high school sweethearts.
