Elopement wedding hair and makeup Sunshine Coast BC

We started collaborating with the incredible duo of Jen + Brian Photo & Film years ago and haven't stopped. Always our favourite collaborative partners, we have shared many sweet and wonderful brides and created tons of gorgeous and inspiring creative shoots together. While we may seem like its all hair and makeup here at Save the Date Beauty, we also have a passion for art directing and creating magical, romantic and dreamy creative shoots to showcase our love of design, decor and floral arrangement. For this shoot, Jen showed us this amazing, almost secret forest location in the heart of Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast BC. A meandering path leads thru the woods to a possibly even more magical mossy and rocky cliff side overlooking the stunning ocean.

While scouting the location, we immediately thought of creating a few romantic scenes to tell the story of love and eloping on the Sunshine Coast, starting with a whimsical getting ready spot, a cliff side draping floral point and a pretty picnic setting as the final destination for our beautiful couple to relax and enjoy. We reached out to the awesome local Ruby's Run Farm for some fresh seasonal flowers to add to our mossy bouquet inspo and another local staple Nourish Kitchen to create some delicious goodies for our picnic. We also connected with a couple other lovely industry friends for the sleek and modern gown by Everly Bridal, handmade accessories by the wonderful Atelier Elise and the perfectly fitted suit by Black & Lee. Of course, no creative collab with our gem friends Jen & Brian would be without our mutual beloved golden hour. We absolutely love how the sparkly magic of the golden rays highlighted Shiraine and Dalias vows, connection and love. Despite this not actually being their wedding, their love and devotion to one another was completely palpable and so sweet.
