“Unveiled… a richly-styled collaborative that indulges our senses and adds a sprinkle of whimsy and nostalgia to the rituals a bride might go through as she prepares for her wedding day” – So Dearly Beloved
We shared a few of these photos on the blog a little while back, but we are SO excited to have them featured on the gorgeous and stylish wedding blog, So Dearly Beloved. We had such an incredible team for this beautiful shoot:

This Parisian inspired shoot was set in the perfect room at the classic Terminal City Club. The muted colours of the space and the amazingly gigantic flowers by Deborah Lee Designs perfectly encapsulate the ease and lightness of the Parisian Bride. Beautiful Pri wears a timeless but show stopping gown by Kathryn Bass Bridal and impeccably eccentric hand made jewels by Whisper Jewels. Her big, loose braid and ever stylish ’60s cat eye liner and flawless natural skin by Save the Date Beauty perfectly complete the look. The marvellously talented Maru Photography brought the whole vision to life with her artistic direction and photography, supported by the wonderful Vaela Weddings. Calligraphy by Quill & Co.
From woodland to the beach, this real couple took the shoot to a couple of locations to make the most of the wonderful settings. The magical jewel tones look stunning both against the lush forest and white-washed shoreline, and I love the bold blooms, colour pop candles and incredible headpiece. Just stunning! With thanks to Caroline Ross Photography for the images today, I know you are going to love this one. – From Laura at Boho Weddings

Sometimes Monday afternoons require a little pick me up that coffee just can’t provide. This editorial for Vogue China‘s 10th Anniversary shot by Mario Testino holds the perfect level of aesthetic gorgeousness to get your brain cells up and running and provide some excessively lovely inspiration for your wedding day planning.
We love the bridal hair and makeup styling on these beautiful Asian brides combine with the positively glamourous vintage styled clothing. Swoon!!
We met stylist Maneli Nourbakhsh on set of another photo shoot. We immediately connected over fashion and travel and planned to do a creative shoot sometime soon. A few weeks later, she got in touch and put together this awesome shoot with photographer Ivan Calderon. He scouted out this hidden gem location known as Finn Slough, a little fishing village set along the Fraser River in South Richmond. Maneli pulled clothing from designer Sara Armstrong, her own wardrobe and props from all over for our gorgeous model Jessica Fangi. Our inspiration for hair and makeup came from an old Vogue editorial, with a chunky black cat eye and dewy skin, natural lips for most shots, until a deep rich red lip to pop with the gold of the clothing. For hair we went a little wild with big brushed out curls with slick finger waves around the face.

Lady in Black
There is nothing more sophisticated or mysterious than wearing an all black ensemble. For a more delicate touch mix in some florals, lightweight pants, ballet flats, or gold details. I’ve been wanting to try this white-ish hair colour for a while and since it has come into style lately I thought I would take the plunge. It definitely adds an ethereal look to one’s appearance. My colour was done by Aaron Brousseau, who is the only person I will ever trust to dye my hair. For this editorial we got a little creative mixing beauty shots with full body shots and adding different elements to the photos such as flowers, coloured backdrops, even including the makeup artist’s hand in a couple of the looks. I always love working with Alex Waber because he is super creative and continually comes up with new ideas that turn into striking images. It was my first time working with the girls from Save The Date Beauty and they really know what they’re doing when it comes to makeup and hair. We kept the makeup light and dewy with wavy locks to compliment the look. The girls always carry a special moisturizer with them everywhere they go and they used it on my skin during the shoot. Needless to say I had to buy one for myself afterwards and have been using it ever since. It’s made locally with all natural ingredients and I don’t think my skin would have looked as nice in these photos without it. The clothes and shoes in the outfits below are from Zebra Club Vancouver, Still Life, Oak+Fort, American Apparel, Zara, and Stuart Weitzman

Sunlit surf and sand along the pebbly shores of Tower Beach. The styling is easy going summer beauty. Minimal makeup with peachy coral tones, playing to the slightly vintage styling of the second look with a pop of red lips. The hair is wind swept loose waves woven into romantic braids wrapped around the crown, adorned with wild flowers plucked from the lavish unruly floral bouquets. Bright blue skies overhead, the sand stretching languidly lined by the lush wall of greenery, make the perfect setting for this boho bridal beach themed shoot.
Beautiful Vintage bridal styling by our mobile hair and makeup team on the Sunshine Coast BC. Our lovely bride looks timeless in loose finger waves perfectly complemented by classic makeup with definition on the eyes.
